Martial Arts Classes

The training hall runs daily martial arts classes, where all levels are welcome. But if you’re a total beginner then we offer basic classes to help you find the confidence you need. Take a look at our programs to see what sounds right for you!

We have classes in both striking and grappling, for kids and adults.

Kids can begin training as young as four with our Nestling Phoenix Program. Designed for children ages 4-7, fundamentals are taught in a positive, fun, supportive, as well as structured class. Legitimate techniques and skills are taught in a child-friendly way, in addition to life lessons like focus and perseverance.

Monday through Thursday 4:00-4:30


Rising Phoenix is designed for kids 8 and up. This program is also suitable for teens not yet ready for the adult programs. Kids and younger teens are taught the same techniques and fundamentals as our adults in a fun, constructive, as well as disciplined class. For example, kids are able to work with peers their own size while learning techniques. However, our same standards for precision and execution are implemented.

Monday through Thursday 5:00-5:30


The martial arts offer a much needed physical and mental outlet for adults. Furthermore, adults need effective classes to get the most out of their time. Our student centered classes will help you meet your goals, rise to your greatest potential, and build your mental and physical strength. Additionally, you will be learning skills that could save your life.

Monday through Thursday 6:30-7:30


Our Programs

Grappling

We offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo in our grappling program. Learn how to use body mechanics, physics, and mind / body coordination to throw and submit your opponents. Jiu Jitsu is also frequently used in MMA. Also, Judo is highly competitive with large tournaments in the Rochester area.

Striking

Kickboxing and Karate are perfect for those interested in striking. Increase your fitness, balance, and body coordination with these powerful programs. Additionally, you’ll be training in martial arts commonly used in MMA. This is also a great program for those looking to increase their fitness.

HEMA

HEMA stands for Historical European Martial Arts. This unique class teaches fundamentals for weapon work, wrestling, and self defense in the HEMA context. If you are looking for a unique martial art, this is especially perfect for you.

Kids Program

Kids are taught the same fundamentals and techniques as our adults, but in a context and pace they can understand. Our kids work with partners and small groups, within a system that is designed to keep them motivated. This is particularly important for younger students.
